Dr. Kwon Kim, DDS, MSc
Dr. Kim grew up in Stratford and completed dental school at University of Western Ontario, Schulich school of Medicine and Dentistry in 2012.
Dr. Kim offers advanced treatments, including implant surgery, bone and soft tissue grafting, wisdom teeth extractions and IV moderate sedation. He is passionate about education and has lectured at national and international conferences. He is the director of KW Implant Study Club where local dentists gather for ongoing professional development.
He is also a director and faculty of GIIA implant live surgery course in Tijuana, Mexico. For his contributions, he is a faculty and selected Key Opinion Leader of Hiossen Implant Canada. He has master’s degree in implantology from Unicamillus International Medical University of Rome and is an appointed visiting professor at the same institute.
In addition, he was a co-editor of a textbook called ‘Minimally Invasive and Atraumatic Extraction of Third Molars.’
During his leisure time, he enjoys spending time at home with his wife and daughter.
Kelli, R.D.H.
Kelli was born and raised in the Tavistock area where she currently resides. She pursued her studies in dental assisting and dental hygiene at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. Kelli graduated on the dean’s honor role and received the Sunstar Preventive Dental Hygiene award for highest clinical proficiency in year two. Kelli is an active member with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario, as well as the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association. Kelli has always had an interest in the dental field and loves working with people of all ages. Her caring personality made her career choice as a Registered Dental Hygienist a perfect fit.
In her spare time Kelli enjoys playing baseball, step-dancing and snowboarding. She loves being an aunt to her three nieces and a dog mom to her little pup Lucy. She loves to travel and see new places. Kelli is extremely happy to be given the opportunity to provide care in her home town of Tavistock!
Missy, R.D.H.
Missy was raised outside of Tavistock, attending Hickson Public School and graduating from high school at Woodstock Collegiate Institute. After high school Missy enrolled at Fanshawe College where she received a certificate in pre-health sciences. From there she took dental assisting at Medix College and worked as a chairside dental assistant for 1 year. Her thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there. She then enrolled in the dental hygiene program at Georgian College and graduated with an advanced diploma in dental hygiene. Missy is registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and is a member of the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association.
Missy married her husband, Matt in 2017. They have recently started a family, and welcomed a little boy, Ryker, big fursister bandit is still not too sure about him!
Jessica, R.D.H.
Jessica was raised in Shakespeare and graduated from Northwestern High School. She graduated form Dental Assisting over 20 years ago, and work as a dental assistant for 5 years before returning to school for Dental Hygiene, she graduated in 2011. Jessica is registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and is a member of the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association.
Jessica has 3 children, who are involved in baseball, when you can’t find her sitting in the bleachers watching her kids, she is most likely in the kitchen baking or coming up with a new recipe for dinner. She also loves her dog Diesel who is a blue merle mini cockapoo.
Natasha, CDA Level 2
Natasha grew up in Elliott Lake. She graduated in 1996 as a Level 2 Dental Assistant at Cambrian College. Natasha makes her home on the outskirts Tavistock with her two boys, her life partner, and their golden retriever Holly. She works daily with Dr. Kim, and travels with him to several other offices to do surgery.
Elizabeth, CDA Level 2
Elizabeth graduated in 2010 from Durham College in Oshawa. Lived in Peterborough with her husband and daughter until 2019 when they moved to Woodstock. She is newer to the office but makes a great addition.
Brenda, CDA
Brenda joined Tavistock Dental in 2002 as an assistant, and for the last eight years she has been administrative and scheduling coordinator. She has recently decided to do some travelling, so she is at the office two days a week.
Brianne, Office Administrator
Brianne’s smile is the first one you will see when you enter Tavistock Dental, and her warming laugh will be the last thing you hear on your way out.
Brianne was born and raised in Tavistock where she currently lives. She graduated from the Health Office Administration program at Conestoga College in 2018 and has been working at Tavistock Dental since 2022. In her spare time, she loves travelling to unique places.
Kathy, Office Administrator
Kathy was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia and now resides in Tavistock. Kathy worked for the Oxford County/Thames Valley District School Board for 32 years as a School Administrative Secretary and retired in June of 2019. She joined our team in April of 2023.
Kathy’s warm and pleasant personality makes our patients feel at ease when they enter our building. In her spare time, she loves to read and go for walks. She also loves to help and visit residents at The Maples Home for Seniors in Tavistock. But most importantly, she loves spending time with her two grandchildren.

I have been going here for over 20 years…first with Dr. Low, and then Dr. Kim. Merle has been my hygienist for most of that time and she is fantastic! Today, there was a new person behind the desk and I think her name was Nellie? Very friendly and outgoing. Invited me for cake next Wednesday as it is Dr. Kim’s Birthday! This is a great place and I would highly recommend it. Staff are excellent!
I went into Tavistock Dental for an issue with extreme sensitivity in one of my teeth. The entire process went smoothly, and the dentists made sure that all of my concerns were addressed.
They were also fantastic with our 3 year old on her first visit, who is usually very shy.
