Merle grew up in the Rostock area and moved to Tavistock when she married. She now resides outside of Tavistock with her husband, son and twin daughters. She attended Fanshawe College where she completed the Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene programs.
Merle is a self initiated Registered Dental Hygienist with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and an active member of the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association. Merle has 30 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist and has worked at Tavistock Dental for over 25 years. She is a valuable team member who loves working with all age groups. It is Merle’s goal to make all her patients feel comfortable and informed.
Missy was raised outside of Tavistock, attending Hickson Public School and graduating from high school at Woodstock Collegiate Institute. After high school Missy enrolled at Fanshawe College where she received a certificate in Pre-Health Sciences. From there she took Dental Assisting at Medix College and worked as a chairside Dental assistant for 1 year. Her thirst for knowledge didn't stop there. She then enrolled in the Dental Hygiene program at Georgian College and graduated with an advanced diploma in Dental Hygiene. Missy is registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and is a member of the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association.
When Missy is not working she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family. Missy has recently become a new home owner and she looks forward to spending time decorating inside and out.
Kelli was born and raised in the Tavistock area where she currently resides. She pursued her studies in Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. Kelli graduated on the Dean's honor role and received the Sunstar Preventive Dental Hygiene award for highest clinical proficiency in year two. Upon Graduation Kelli received her certificate of registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario with which she is an active member, as well as the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association and the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association. Kelli has always had an interest in the Dental field and loves working with people of all ages. Her caring personality made her career choice as a Registered Dental Hygienist a perfect fit.
In her spare time Kelli enjoys playing baseball, swimming and ice skating.
She loves being an Aunt, she is an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan and loves to Travel and see new places. Kelli is extremely happy to be given the opportunity to provide care in her home town of Tavistock!
Ally, CDA Level II/ Administration
Ally grew up in Tavistock and now resides in Stratford with her daughter. She graduated high school at Northwestern Secondary School in Stratford. She went straight to work after high school, but her interest in dentistry came into effect in 2013 when she attended the Dental Assisting program at Medix College in Kitchener. Ally graduated a Certified Level II Dental Assistant.
She aims to put patients at ease and help them understand their treatment so they can have a positive experience. Ally is also a member of the Ontario Dental Assistants Association. Ally strives to expand her knowledge in dentistry by continuing education and pursuing interest in different aspects of the field. In her spare time Ally likes to read, go out with her friends, and spend time with her daughter.
Kailey, CDA Level II
Kailey was raised in Dublin,ON where she currently resides. She graduated high school at St. Michael’s Catholic Secondary School in Stratford and throughout those years she worked as a milker on a diary farm north of Mitchell until she decided to pursue a career as a Dental Assistant. Kailey studied Level I and Level II Dental assisting at Fanshawe College in London, where she then graduated in 2016 as a Certified Level II Dental Assistant.
In her spare time Kailey enjoys playing baseball and just recently decided to try volleyball throughout the winter months. Kailey loves spoiling her Great Dane and will bring him just about anywhere with her. Kailey also is a Blue Jays fan and loves to try new things. She is excited to be given the opportunity to work in the dental field and aims to expand her knowledge in dentistry.
Brenda, Patient Services Coordinator
Brenda is the youngest of 7 children. She grew up in Hickson. Brenda has lived in Tavistock for 25 years. After graduating as a certified Dental Assistant she worked in Kitchener for several years before coming to Tavistock Dental.
Brenda enjoys working in her community where she can see friends and neighbours every day. She enjoys being outdoors which included walking or biking to work. Her hobbies include Gardening and vacation cruises in the Caribbean.
Lisa, Hygiene Services Coordinator
Lisa grew up in Toronto, where she started her career in dental administration. She moved to the UK in 1992 and enjoyed working as an operations manager for a clothing retailer, then the Cumbria Constabulary before returning home to Canada in 2001. Once home Lisa worked in the glazing/construction industry in customer service for several years.
Recently Lisa and her husband, Chris, moved to St. Mary's where she found herself wanting to get back into her first passion of dentistry. She enjoys the atmosphere at Tavistock Dental and helping patients in any way she can. In her spare time Lisa & Chris enjoy touring around on their Harley Davidson, entertaining dinners with the neighbors, and going to Temagami whenever possible.
Mrs. Eunmi Kim, General Manager
Mrs. Eunmi Kim was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. She currently lives in Waterloo, ON with her family. She is very proud of her two sons, Kwon & Chan.
Mrs. Kim has over 30 years of experience in customer service with Thai Airways Int'l public Co. Ltd. in Korea where she handled flight operations, VIP passenger protocol, flight catering supervision, lost & found as an executive. She had spent time for 3 years in Korea customs at the Int'l airport before she joined the airline.
Her attention to detail is an asset to us here at Tavistock Dental. She eagerly tries to utilize her airline experiences for the safety and comfort for Tavistock Dental clients. Recently Mrs. Kim was voted the first female elder of KW Korean Presbyterian church located in Kitchener. She faithfully attends sunrise services, church meetings, and meets with church members. Mrs. Kim has an interest in healthy living. In her spare time she will work out at the gym and take classes at her local health food store.
